JOHN McEUEN and his CIRCLE BAND featuring fellow founder of the Nitty Gritty Dirt Band Les Thompson, and with string wizard Bryan McDowell (on guitar, mandolin, fiddle). John takes you through his incredible 50 years - with NGDB music and the stories behind the songs, quirky personalities, including hundreds of photos (and, 8mm sound film!). Opener: River Glen RIVER writes poignant folk-pop. His lyricism is evocative, intellectual, and cleverly rhythmic. He sings with powerful and dexterous vocals. His songs have "somethin' to say" and they're also darn tasty. River's no slouch playing instruments either. A natural entertainer. Helping create a sense of connection.
